Explore the biological processes that take place in living organisms, encompassing function regulation across sub-cellular, cellular, tissue, organ, and whole-body levels, along with their interactions and coordination. Key study areas involve endocrinology, neurophysiology, developmental biology, immunology, cellular communication, toxicology, and environmental physiology across diverse species. The Honors Bachelor of Science program provides specialized education in a focused discipline, ideal for students passionate about scientific inquiry. Each curriculum includes a mandatory research thesis component and requires higher academic performance compared to a standard BSc Major degree. While students may choose to complement their studies with a minor from Arts, Native Studies, Business, or Agricultural, Life & Environmental Sciences, this will limit elective course options. The Honors program does not permit a double major.
