For students passionate about exploring interdisciplinary connections in the arts, SAMC provides an arts, media, and culture degree program featuring flexible course combinations across art, film, and music disciplines.
This arts, media, and culture major offers multiple study paths, with students selecting either:
2-3 focus areas from these options: art and design, film studies (media and communication), and music
For dual concentrations: complete 30 semester hours in each chosen field.
For triple concentrations: complete 30 semester hours in one area, 24 semester hours (minor) in another, and 6 semester hours in the third.
SAMC 420 (London and Paris Travel Study) is strongly advised during summer after junior or senior year; this course fulfills the University's core IDIS 400 requirement
