This advanced postgraduate certificate program delves into interdisciplinary subjects encompassing AI and Software Development. You'll study core AI principles, nine programming languages, machine learning algorithms, statistics, information systems, along with AI's historical context and its ethical, social, and political impacts. Designed as a post-undergraduate qualification, the program enhances your expertise in AI and software development, equipping you to apply these innovative technologies throughout your career. Offered solely at Trent University's Durham campus in the Greater Toronto Area, the program takes place in state-of-the-art facilities at the Trent Durham Advanced Learning Centre (ALC), located in downtown Oshawa amidst dining options, coffee shops, entertainment, and urban conveniences.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Artificial Intelligence is available to students who hold an undergraduate degree from any accredited university.
Post-secondary transcripts and graduation certificates (where applicable) of all previous undergraduate and graduate work are required. This includes transcripts for courses taken on a Letter of Permission, for transfer credit, or on an exchange program. Transcripts must show all course work completed and grades received. If applicable, evidence of degree completion is required. Transcript must include a grading scale or transcript legend.
