Midwives offer essential healthcare services for individuals experiencing low-risk pregnancies, covering prenatal care, delivery, and postnatal care up to six weeks after birth. Over 50% of this program involves hands-on clinical midwifery training and interdisciplinary placements. Through courses in social and biological sciences, research opportunities, and flexible learning options, you'll learn to deliver comprehensive care to expectant parents and infants across various healthcare environments. With its emphasis on social equity, the program equips you to assist diverse midwifery clients with differing cultural perspectives and needs.
Full Time: Four Year
Part Time: Five to Six Years; Post-Baccalaureate Option Available
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including some program specific requirements.
English language requirements: IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL: 92-93 Internet-based, CAEL score of 70 and PTE score of 60, Cambridge English - 180 and above on C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency.
February 1 is the guaranteed consideration date for applications to all programs.
