Religious Studies investigates how faith traditions influence modern culture globally. It analyzes how spiritual beliefs, moral frameworks, and religious laws impact politics, creative expression, activism, gender issues, ecological concerns, and existential questions. Our curriculum features both comparative courses examining multiple faiths around specific themes and specialized classes focusing on individual traditions. Using humanities and social science perspectives, we explore religion's impact on contemporary societal issues. Interactive small classes prioritize dialogue, critical thinking, and lively exchange.
As an interdisciplinary academic discipline, Religious Studies introduces diverse analytical methods while encouraging thoughtful consideration of research approaches.
All courses are professor-led, ensuring direct learning from subject specialists.
The program offers several concentrations such as: ceremonial practices, moral philosophy, textual interpretation, and societal role examination.
