For those intrigued by global faith traditions, the Study of Religion program could be your ideal path. Delve into compelling themes such as the intersection of religion and science or how belief systems interact with modern society, covering profound topics like morality, human relationships, and mortality.

This academic program examines religions through comparative analysis, investigating both ancient and contemporary perspectives on spiritual practices, doctrines, and their revelations about identity, mortality, social tensions, cultural variety, moral philosophy, transcendence, human connection, and emerging faith communities.

Saint Mary's provides an extensive curriculum taught by faculty from diverse backgrounds, employing interdisciplinary approaches to understand religion's role in culture. Students enjoy the freedom to combine their religious studies with complementary disciplines including Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Geography, Political Science, History, English, or Classics.
