Philosophy explores fundamental concepts and inquiries about existence—both the nature of reality and humanity's role within it. This discipline centers on truth, reasoning, and questioning our assumptions about knowledge and morality. Our department embraces diverse philosophical perspectives while investigating both timeless and modern debates. With faculty specializing in various areas, students gain comprehensive exposure to the subject through rigorous study. Courses feature original works by leading thinkers—not condensed versions—and though demanding, our intimate class settings foster cooperative and encouraging academic experiences. Interactive, discussion-based classes that prioritize dialogue and critical exchange.
All lectures and seminars are conducted by faculty members—never graduate assistants—ensuring instruction from seasoned scholars.

Students engage directly with primary philosophical texts rather than secondary interpretations.

Students access specialized faculty knowledge across ethics, moral reasoning, logical analysis, environmental ethics, classical philosophy, and Enlightenment-era thought.
