Exploring Environment and Society equips you to spearhead efforts toward a sustainable future. Issues like climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution stem not from science alone, but from flawed economic structures, political frameworks, and consumption patterns that disregard ecological boundaries. Addressing these challenges demands innovative economic models, governance approaches, cultural shifts, and ethical frameworks that translate into concrete action. A truly sustainable world enables all communities to thrive while respecting Earth's natural limits. How can we achieve this? Through examining sustainability transitions, we shift from diagnosing problems to redesigning social systems that are just, inclusive, and harmonious with nature.
