The Bachelor of Arts (Aviation Stream) at St. Thomas University, delivered in collaboration with MFC Training (Fredericton Campus), merges conventional undergraduate studies with comprehensive flight instruction. This unique program stands among Canada's limited offerings of its kind. Enrolled students commence their academic journey at St. Thomas University, completing foundational first-year courses in social sciences and humanities. Upon achieving at least 24 credit hours, participants transition into flight training and ground school during their second year of this four-year degree. Graduates will earn: A Bachelor of Arts degree (with a major selected from available social sciences and humanities disciplines) A Commercial Pilot License (CPL) Multi-engine aircraft certification Group 1 instrument rating Additionally, students may become eligible to attempt the Airline Transport Pilot License examination.
Have second-year standing - minimum of 24 credits
Obtain a Transport Canada Category 1 medical certificate 
Pass a formal English language proficiency test mandated by Transport Canada, and administered by MFC Training 
 
International Applicants - In addition to a high school transcript, international applicants whose primary language is not English must also arrange to have an official copy of their English proficiency scores sent directly to the Admissions Office. 
Adult Learners - Submit a 1–2-page typed letter describing your educational background, work experience, and academic plans. Mature candidates must also submit academic transcripts - e.g. high school, GED if applicable.

International Applicants Currently Studying in Canada - The English language proficiency score requirement may be waived for students who graduate from a high school in New Brunswick with a final grade of 70% or higher on English 122 or 121. The University reserves the right to evaluate students’ English proficiency upon arrival - academic-credit English Language Support courses may be required.
