Economics examines crucial aspects of human existence across local, national, and international scales. Key topics encompass joblessness, price increases, wealth disparities, environmental concerns, sustainable growth, resource depletion, global economic relations, and government financial obligations.
You'll engage in a close-knit academic setting where you'll tackle some of the most pressing subjects in your discipline. Upper-level courses feature small groups, enabling rich discussions with instructors and classmates while fostering a learning-focused atmosphere.
Opportunities exist to contribute to departmental activities through organizations such as the Economics Society, where you can help select guest speakers and plan events.
