An Associate Degree covers the initial two years of a four-year bachelor's program. In British Columbia, universities automatically grant 60 transfer credits to students who complete an Associate Degree, provided they achieve the required GPA set by each institution. Graduates become eligible to apply for Canada's post-graduate work permit program.
