The Advanced Medical Esthetics Practitioner Graduate Certificate Program equips graduates for careers in the rapidly evolving medical esthetics industry. The program curriculum establishes core competencies in evaluating skin characteristics, identifying conditions, and administering appropriate therapies using cutting-edge technologies, specialized products, and advanced equipment. Participants will acquire hands-on clinical experience to practice safely and effectively alongside healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, within defined practice parameters. The program covers non-invasive techniques like laser therapies, light-based treatments, chemical peels, hydrofacials, microdermabrasion, microneedling, and dermaplaning, while also introducing foundational knowledge for supporting invasive cosmetic procedures. This includes laboratory exposure to phlebotomy techniques for PRP therapies. Students will develop specialized skills in providing pre- and post-procedure care for diverse patient groups, including those undergoing cancer treatment. Graduates will be qualified to perform medical esthetic treatments and recommend professional skincare products. Note: Separate training or certification is
required for injectable procedures.
