The Fitness and Health Promotion diploma positions you at the forefront of the wellness movement, learning from experienced faculty with industry connections. The curriculum extends beyond basic exercise principles to cover anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, business operations, marketing strategies, nutrition science, injury prevention, event coordination, and other vital areas. Graduates will develop the capability to assess community needs and create tailored programs for diverse individuals and groups with varying objectives. Proficiency in business administration, understanding of community resources, and strong communication skills with various stakeholders will enhance graduates' employability.
Further competencies in fitness center operations, program management and marketing, fitness assessment techniques, exercise program design, and leadership development will serve as valuable assets for aspiring fitness professionals.
Program Highlights
Graduates become eligible to take the OFC Group Fitness and Resistance Trainer as well as Personal Trainer examinations to achieve Platinum Fitness Practitioner OFC-RHEP certification.
