Become a frontrunner in the fast-growing fitness and wellness industry by joining our program, which opens doors to diverse career paths.
Over two years, you'll study exercise science, health promotion, business management, interpersonal skills, and career development. Many classes take place in the cutting-edge Student Health & Athletic Centre at our Kingston Campus. Participants can earn extra credentials like the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology's Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) designation and various OFC certifications in personal training, group fitness, and spin instruction.
Upon completion, graduates will possess 400 hours of hands-on experience from two intensive work placements, covering health promotion, adaptive fitness, injury prevention, fitness evaluation, personal training, workplace wellness, and corporate health initiatives.
Our curriculum aligns with the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development's requirements for Fitness and Health Promotion Programs.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)with the majority of Grade 11 and 12 courses at the C, U or M level including the following prerequisites:
Grade 12 English at the C or U level
Grade 11 Math at the C, U or M level
Grade 11 or 12 Biology at the C or U level, or PSK4U
Recommended Background
Any grade 11 or 12 Health and Physical Education courses
Students should have basic computer skills which include the ability to use Internet Explorer, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
