The Ontario Certificate program equips students with expertise in the scientific foundations of Education and Fire Prevention in Communities, Fire Dynamics, Fire Ground Procedures, Emergency Medical Response for Firefighters, Environmental Conservation, and Rescue Techniques, along with an Introduction to Fire Services. After completing the program, graduates can pursue provincial examinations to fulfill the Office of the Fire Marshal's certification criteria for firefighters, adhering to NFPA 1001 and NFPA 1072 Standards.
