Students must finish 30 approved upper division credits, making sure they meet all lower division prerequisites for their enrolled courses. Available concentrations include Criminal Law, Women and Law, Psychology and Law, Education and Law, Business, Economics and Law, and Fundamental Rights and Law. Those with at least a 2.25 CGPA can register for upper division Criminology courses after declaring their Post Baccalaureate Diploma. Some students may need to complete lower division prerequisite courses first.

Qualification Requirements

A bachelor's degree from SFU or its equivalent from a recognized institution, a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. IELTS overall band score of 7.0 of the academic test with a minimum of 6.5 in each section. Paper-based TOEFL -580 and TWE 5,Internet-based TOEFL 93 with minimum of 20 in each category.
Applicants must meet university undergraduate admission deadlines as shown in this Calendar. Application forms and official documents must be submitted to Student Services. In addition to applying for University admission, students apply in writing to the School of Criminology's advisor for certificate program declaration.

To continue in the program, students must maintain a 2.25 CGPA. Students whose CGPA falls below 2.25 cannot enroll in any upper division CRIM courses.
