At SFU, social psychology focuses on both practical and theoretical issues. Our social psychology faculty show how rigorous scientific methods can explore fundamental human behaviors while offering valuable perspectives for modern society. We employ diverse research techniques such as experiments, observations, correlations, long-term studies, and qualitative analysis, conducted in both lab and real-world environments. The program fosters a collaborative and encouraging research atmosphere, with faculty frequently working together on joint projects.
