The Master of Arts in International Studies (MAIS) offers a comprehensive interdisciplinary education combined with hands-on learning to tackle intricate global challenges. Our curriculum explores diverse viewpoints within international studies, incorporating both mainstream and alternative approaches. Taught by distinguished faculty members, this program enables you to bridge academic concepts, specialized regional knowledge, and real-world applications through various research and professional opportunities.
The MA in International Studies is an intensive 12-month program spanning three semesters. Students undertake full-time coursework during the first two terms (Fall and Spring), followed by a final term dedicated to completing capstone projects. Alternatively, participants may opt to use the Summer term for paid cooperative work placements or independent thesis research, potentially extending the program to a fourth term.

This demanding program requires students' full attention. Financial assistance and tuition support are provided to discourage concurrent full-time employment during studies.
The MAIS curriculum ensures all participants develop solid foundational knowledge and methodological skills in International Studies. Students progress through core courses as a cohesive group in intimate seminar settings, fostering dynamic exchanges between peers and instructors through focused discussions and collaborative learning experiences.
