An MA (Master of Arts) degree demonstrates a student's mastery of specialized knowledge and their ability to perform substantial, independent research in their chosen educational field. Under unique circumstances where standard master's programs don't meet specific academic needs, candidates may design a customized program.
This personalized program requires a curriculum plan created in collaboration with and approved by a faculty advisor, who will subsequently oversee the master's thesis. Typically before finishing the fourth course, a second qualified expert joins the thesis advisory committee to provide additional guidance.
