During the initial 60 units of the program, students will primarily focus on non-business coursework across three distinct categories. The first category includes foundational lower-division requirements that equip students for more complex upper-division business classes. The second category encompasses university-mandated courses in writing, quantitative skills, and general education, along with Beedie School of Business non-business electives and a minimum of 36 units taken outside the business school. Students should finish these first two categories within their first 60 units.
For the third category, students select courses aligned with their academic interests or professional aspirations. The final 72 units of the program involve completing core upper-division business courses, specializing in at least one concentration area, taking lower and upper-division electives, and adding 12 units of 400-level BUS courses. Overall, students must complete at least 132 units, with a minimum of 60 units at the upper-division level.
