This interdisciplinary program examines the connections between both fields. Students should develop their academic plan with guidance from advisors in both departments. Within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the Philosophy program provides options for a major, minor, or ethics certificate. This program is available at the Surrey campus location. The Humanities program, also in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, can be pursued as a major, minor, or combined major with disciplines like English, French, History, Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies, or Philosophy. Additionally, the program features language courses via the Language Training Institute, along with certificates in religious studies and medieval/Renaissance studies.
