This program culminates in a Bachelor of Arts degree. The contemporary arts field features dynamic discussions regarding both the interpretation and importance of artistic works, as well as their connections with audiences and broader cultural contexts. The curriculum examines art and culture while focusing on evolving historical perspectives of class, gender, race, ethnicity, sexuality, and aesthetic principles. The foundational curriculum offers two introductory studio courses across various disciplines, allowing students to explore creative processes in dance, music, theater, video, or visual arts.
