This two-year program develops the technical and professional abilities needed for diverse healthcare environments. Students will gain expertise in specialized medical software, OHIP billing, digital scheduling systems, and communication applications.

Medical office operations. Healthcare terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology. Digital medical billing and appointment management.
Medical documentation methods. Specialized healthcare software platforms.Medical Simulation or Practical Experience
After successfully completing the initial three terms with the required GPA, students can select either Medical Simulation training or Field Placement (two weekly days). Both pathways ready graduates for administrative support roles in medical environments, offering valuable work exposure and career exploration opportunities.
Professional Pathways
Graduates of Sheridan's Office Administration – Health Services program will be prepared for entry-level roles across various healthcare settings.
Potential workplaces include - Healthcare agencies and institutions, Medical organizations,Hospital systems, Physician practices or outpatient centers

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses:
One English, Grade 12 (ENG4C or ENG4U) with a minimum 60%
Minimum 65% overall average. or
Mature student status.

TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and TOEFL iBT Home Edition (DI Code: 9117) - overall score 80 with no individual section below 20
iTEP Academic - overall score 3.7
PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) online or in person - overall score 58 with no individual section below 49
Duolingo English Language Test - overall score of 105 with no individual subscore lower than 85
Cambridge English Test Exams (B2 First/C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency score) - overall Cambridge English Scale score 169 with no individual score below 162
CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) online or in person - overall score 60 with no individual section below 50
Sheridan EPA test - Listening Band - 4.0 Reading Combined Band - 4.0 Writing - CLB 7
Sheridan's ESL program EAP level - A minimum score of 70% in listening and speaking and 70% in reading and writing. General Education courses and Navigating Digital Environments (INFO) minimum required grade of 50%.
