Sheridan's Chemical Laboratory Technician diploma program offers state-of-the-art facilities with modern equipment and abundant practical learning opportunities. Students gain direct experience using advanced instruments identical to those employed in professional research and industrial settings, while mastering the application of chemical science principles.
Program credits are fully transferable (both during and after completion) to Sheridan's Chemical Engineering Technology, Chemical Engineering Technology - Environmental, or Environmental Technician programs, providing exceptional flexibility for Chemical Laboratory Technician students.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses:
One English, Grade 12 (ENG4C or ENG4U) plus
One Chemistry, Grade 11 (U) or Grade 12 (C)
One Math Grade 12 (U) or Math Grade 12 Mathematics for College Technology (MCT4C) or Math Grade 11 Functions (MCR3U) or Functions and Applications (MCF3M) or
Mature student status.

TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and TOEFL iBT Home Edition (DI Code: 9117) - overall score 80 with no individual section below 20
iTEP Academic - overall score 3.7
PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) online or in person - overall score 58 with no individual section below 49
Duolingo English Language Test - overall score of 105 with no individual subscore lower than 85
Cambridge English Test Exams (B2 First/C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency score) - overall Cambridge English Scale score 169 with no individual score below 162
CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) online or in person - overall score 60 with no individual section below 50
Sheridan EPA test - Listening Band - 4.0 Reading Combined Band - 4.0 Writing - CLB 7
Sheridan's ESL program EAP level - A minimum score of 70% in listening and speaking and 70% in reading and writing. General Education courses and Navigating Digital Environments (INFO) minimum required grade of 50%.
