The increasing demand for aesthetic treatments has created a greater need for certified professionals skilled in performing cosmetic procedures. Licensed nurses can broaden their career prospects by working in cosmetic settings outside conventional healthcare environments. This postgraduate program equips Canadian registered nurses and registered practical nurses with both theoretical knowledge and practical training to deliver medical aesthetic services. Students will learn techniques including laser hair removal, microneedling, anti-aging therapies, chemical peels, and injectable cosmetic treatments.
