This program follows Seneca's hybrid learning approach, combining online coursework with mandatory in-person sessions. Attendance on campus is required to fulfill certain hands-on components.
Over eight months, this graduate certificate transforms creative individuals into professional AAA game asset modelers. The specialized curriculum focuses on developing and animating 3D environments, characters, and various game elements.
Students will master essential skills including 3D modeling, lighting techniques, texture creation, animation principles, scene composition, art direction, and project management. Instruction from industry-seasoned professors enhances learning through professional workflows. Utilizing cutting-edge hardware and software, participants gain hands-on experience with professional tools for creating game assets and integrating them into interactive environments.
Ontario university or college degree or college diploma or equivalent in fine art, 2D/3D animation, photography, film/video, architecture or graphic design.
Applicants with an equivalent combination of partial postsecondary or related work experience may be considered for admission. A relevant resumé and references must be provided.
