This one-year graduate certificate program provides instruction from acclaimed filmmakers and industry experts, offering immersive, hands-on training in documentary filmmaking. Focused on three core areas - creativity, technical skills, and industry knowledge - you'll master all stages of documentary production, from concept development to pitching, filming, editing, and distribution strategies.
Upon completing the program, you'll gain experience in pre-production (research and planning), production (filming), and post-production (editing) while taking on various roles as director, producer, cinematographer, and editor to create your debut documentary.
