This two-year diploma equips you with expert knowledge and practical abilities to properly dispense low-vision aids, contacts, and prescription eyewear. Through classroom instruction, you'll study vision science, optical principles, and refractive techniques, while hands-on lab sessions train you in fitting and dispensing glasses and contacts. Upon completion, graduates can register for NACOR's professional certification exams to begin their opticianry careers.
