Our accelerated Law Clerk program offers a quicker path for those with prior postsecondary education, completing in just nine months rather than four semesters. You'll gain the skills to assist lawyers in dynamic legal settings while mastering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The program combines instruction in legal ethics with hands-on experience, preparing you for real-world challenges. Coursework covers diverse legal fields including criminal law, immigration, intellectual property, personal injury cases, real estate transactions, corporate/commercial matters, family law, litigation procedures, wills and estates - all while developing essential technology competencies for modern legal practice.
Ontario university or college degree or equivalent, or an Ontario college diploma or equivalent.
Applicants with substantial completion of a degree (75%) and a minimum of three postsecondary general education or liberal studies credits may be considered for admission.
Applicants with credentials from outside of Canada must provide a "course-by-course" credential assessment from a recognized agency such as WES (World Education Services) or ICAS (International Credential Assessment Service); including a Postsecondary English course or equivalent.

Cambridge English Exams (B2 First/FCE, C1 Advanced/CAE or C2 Proficiency/CPE): Minimum 169 with no skill below 162
Duolingo: Minimum score 105 to 110
IELTS Academic: Minimum 6.0 with no skill below 5.5
PTE Academic: Minimum score 58
TOEFL iBT (including MyBest TOEFL and Home Edition): Minimum 80 with no skill below 20
TOEFL Revised Paper Delivered: No skill below 20
