Begin your journey in the construction industry's most in-demand trade. This career path requires strong analytical abilities, dedication to hard work, and the capacity to collaborate effectively or work independently. Upon completion, you'll be certified for positions with construction firms, primary contractors and specialty contractors, as well as maintenance roles within educational institutions, healthcare facilities, mining companies and government agencies. The Carpentry program is a 32-week certification course available at both Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Moose Jaw and Prince Albert campuses.

IELTS - Overall minimum score of Band 6.5 with a minimum score of 5.0 in each component.
TOEFL (IBT) - An overall minimum score of 81 on the Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL IBT), with a minimum score of 19 in each of reading, listening, speaking and writing.
TOEFL (PBT) - Minimum test score of 550 with a minimum TWE of 3.5 and a minimum TSE of 50.
Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) - A minimum score of 63 with minimum component scores of 50.
