Our survival is fundamentally linked to the Earth. Geology explores our planet's composition, the forces shaping its surface and core, and its evolutionary journey. The Department provides comprehensive course options for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a Concentration, Major, or Honours in Geology. These courses are also available to students focusing on other scientific disciplines. Specialized programs blend geology with geography or environmental science to highlight ecological perspectives, while geology-business combinations focus on Earth's economic dimensions. The Department also offers introductory courses for non-science students, covering planetary geology, Earth's development through time, and humanity's relationship with our planet.

Qualification Requirements
Students are required to have completed the equivalent of grade 12 level university preparatory English and 4 other university preparatory courses. The overall average should be equivalent to at least 70 percent with no individual grade below 60 percent.
Students may be admitted if they have completed the IB Diploma with a total score of 24 points and a minimum grade of 3 in required courses.

Cambridge B2 First C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency minimum score of 176 with no individual score below 169.
