Structural Engineering Technology is a specialized program. Prospective students must first apply to and successfully complete the initial shared year of the Civil Engineering Technology curriculum. Master collaborative approaches to conceptualize, develop, and construct the infrastructure that forms our built environment. This program equips you with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on abilities for thriving careers in consulting, construction, design, manufacturing, or project leadership, whether locally in Manitoba or internationally. Your RRC Polytech education includes valuable industry exposure through two cooperative work placements. These co-op experiences enable you to accumulate practical knowledge, combine academic learning with real-world application, and establish professional relationships with industry leaders and potential employers.

Qualification Requirements

To apply to this program, you must have successfully completed the first year of the Civil Engineering Technology program with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00 and have a minimum grade of C in CIVL-2025 Statics and Strength of Materials 2.
Grade 12
Submit proof of graduation from or enrolment in Grade 12, including one credit in each of the following:
Grade 12 English
Applied Math 40S or Pre-Calculus Math 40S
If you provide proof of enrolment at time of application, your official final grades indicating successful completion must be submitted by July 15 for fall enrolment or by the deadline specified in your admission letter
If you are required to complete an English language assessment, do not submit your transcripts until requested to do so.

TOEFL iBT - 80 Overall (L- 20, S - 20, R - 19, W - 21)
