Civil engineering technologists offer essential technical assistance to engineers, architects, scientists, and other industry professionals. The Civil Engineering Technology curriculum encompasses a wide array of subjects, enabling you to cultivate a versatile skillset with numerous professional opportunities. All program participants complete a shared foundational year, establishing core competencies, theoretical understanding, and hands-on experience with cutting-edge software and tools to investigate diverse civil engineering facets. Following this, students select one of five concentration tracks to focus on until completing their studies. The program incorporates practical work experiences – featuring two paid co-op placements – allowing you to acquire real-world knowledge, establish professional connections, and ready yourself for post-graduation employment.
