The Department of Psychology offers graduate studies leading to M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees across four specializations: Clinical, Cognitive Neuroscience, Developmental, and Social-Personality Psychology. Our Cognitive Neuroscience, Developmental, and Social-Personality programs focus on developing research expertise and academic scholarship, equipping graduates for careers in academia or research roles across various sectors. The Clinical Program trains psychologists to excel in both scientific inquiry and practical clinical skills, preparing them for diverse professional environments. Within Queen's Developmental Psychology Program, we investigate cognitive and social growth patterns throughout childhood and adolescence. Our commitment lies in producing groundbreaking research, delivering exceptional student education, and disseminating knowledge through academic publications, media engagements, and community initiatives.

Grade requirements: Minimum B+ average or international equivalent (e.g.,
upper second class).

If English is not a native language, prospective students must meet the English
language proficiency requirements in writing, speaking, reading, and listening.
The following minimum scores are required: (1) TOEFL Ibt - iBT (Internet Based TOEFL) - 88 overall TOEFL iBT: Writing (24/30),
Speaking (22/30), Reading (22/30), Listening (20/30). Applicants must have the
minimum score in each test as well as the minimum overall score, or (2) IELTS:
7.0 (academic module overall band score and a 7.0 for each test band), or (3)
PTE Academics: 65, or (4) CAEL CE -70 (minimum overall score)
