The Department of Psychology offers graduate studies leading to M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees across four specializations: Clinical, Cognitive Neuroscience, Developmental, and Social-Personality. While the Cognitive Neuroscience, Developmental, and Social-Personality programs focus on developing research expertise and academic preparation for careers in academia or research organizations, the Clinical program trains professionals skilled in both scientific inquiry and clinical practice for diverse work environments.
Students must have 4-year Honours undergraduate degree in Psychology; Honours thesis preferred; Applications from adjacent degrees such as Cognitive Science and Social Behavior will also be considered.
English language requirements
Applicants must have TOEFL Internet-based Test (TOEFL iBT): The minimum overall score is 88, made up of the minimum scores in each component test as follows: Writing test: 24/30; Speaking test: 22/30; Reading test: 22/30; Listening test: 20/30; MELAB: 80 (minimum overall score); IELTS: 7 (minimum score, academic module); PTE Academic: 65 (minimum overall score).
