Housed in Goodwin Hall, the Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining features comprehensive lecture spaces, laboratories, and study areas. Our campus facilities include specialized labs for Rock Mechanics, Mine Environment studies, Computer Planning, and multiple Mineral Processing research spaces. The department also maintains an Explosive Test Site in nearby Hinchinbrooke Township. These well-equipped laboratories support both our academic programs and cutting-edge research initiatives across key mining disciplines.
