The Master of Arts in Political and Legal Thought is a joint initiative between the Philosophy Department, Political Studies Department, and Law Faculty. This interdisciplinary program leverages each department's expertise in political theory, legal studies, and ethics, enabling students to work with distinguished academics across these fields. Structured as a 12-month intensive, the curriculum requires six courses during Fall and Winter semesters, with at least four focusing on Political and Legal Thought that integrate philosophical, political, and legal perspectives. In Spring and Summer terms, students develop Major Research Papers on self-selected topics with guidance from faculty advisors.
Student must have four (4) year undergraduate degree in political science, or an equivalent with an minimum B+ average

Applicants must have TOEFL Internet-based Test (TOEFL iBT): The minimum overall score is 88, made up of the minimum scores in each component test as follows: Writing test: 24/30; Speaking test: 22/30; Reading test: 22/30; Listening test: 20/30; MELAB: 80 (minimum overall score); IELTS: 7 (minimum score, academic module); PTE Academic: 65 (minimum overall score).
