The Psychology graduate program at Queen's University is globally recognized for its distinguished faculty, outstanding students, cutting-edge training, and the significance of its research, academic work, and skill enhancement. Our graduate offerings in Clinical Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Social-Personality Psychology, and Brain, Behaviour, and Cognitive Science are structured to prioritize research proficiency and academic excellence, equipping you for roles in academia or research positions across government, industry, and other fields. The clinical track includes internship placements, with training grounded in the scientist-practitioner approach across various clinical and research domains. Additionally, students have opportunities to participate in conferences throughout North America and Europe, though no formal travel program is currently offered.
Students must have Master’s degree in Psychology from a recognized university.
English language requirements
Applicants must have TOEFL Internet-based Test (TOEFL iBT): The minimum overall score is 88, made up of the minimum scores in each component test as follows: Writing test: 24/30; Speaking test: 22/30; Reading test: 22/30; Listening test: 20/30; MELAB: 80 (minimum overall score); IELTS: 7 (minimum score, academic module); PTE Academic: 65 (minimum overall score).
