The Bachelor of Music is a specialized degree program offering three distinct tracks: Classical, Contemporary Instrumental and Vocal Genres, or Sonic Arts & Music Production. Approximately two-thirds of your coursework will focus on music studies within this program.

All music majors complete core classes in Music Production, Music History and Cultures, Entrepreneurship, and Education before advancing to specialized courses within their chosen concentration. Each track includes performance and composition classes, music theory, ear training, and ensemble work tailored to the specific discipline. Students have the flexibility to take electives from other concentrations or additional entrepreneurship courses. We strongly recommend that students both broaden their horizons and deepen their expertise in their primary field to prepare for diverse career paths such as performing, composing, teaching, producing, working in cultural institutions, arts administration, or pursuing advanced degrees.
