The field of energy and thermofluids engineering encompasses technologies like renewable energy systems, hydrogen power, internal combustion engines, gas turbines, power generation facilities, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), along with associated fluid dynamics, thermal transfer, and thermodynamic technologies.
Mechanical Engineering master's programs enable students to explore all core aspects of mechanical engineering. These programs also offer three specialized study tracks where students can concentrate on emerging technical areas with strong industry demand: Design, Energy and Thermofluids Engineering, and Mechatronics and Manufacturing Engineering.
Students also have the option to pursue a broader mechanical engineering curriculum. Subject areas range from robotics, automation, and mechatronics to structural mechanics, control systems, computer-aided design, and thermal fluid systems. Mechanical engineering frequently intersects with other fields, including electrical, computer, and software engineering, providing graduate students with opportunities to investigate these related disciplines.
