Develop approaches for establishing sustainable policies that enhance community development, aiming to boost living standards while tackling key justice and urban planning challenges.
This distinctive program focuses on policy and social justice matters, examining connections between various communities—from nations and regions to cities, towns, and social movements. It highlights methods for crafting lasting policies that promote community and global development, elevate quality of life, and advance social justice and urban planning.

This cross-disciplinary major leverages expertise from political science, sociology, public policy, history, communication, digital media studies, philosophy, legal studies, and economics to provide a comprehensive, multifaceted education.
Students can also pursue a dual major in Legal Studies and Political Science, earning degrees in both fields within four years. These programs complement each other well, as law and politics are closely interconnected. Students explore how legal frameworks shape governance and how political power influences legislation and judicial processes.
