The International Development Diploma caters to individuals seeking careers with global development organizations. This program enables participants to explore pressing worldwide challenges including poverty, environmental decline, racial and gender inequality, corruption, financial opacity, and political shortcomings. Graduates gain comprehensive knowledge of contemporary international development matters and learn to employ suitable analytical methods for global development challenges. The diploma offers two pathways: International Development Governance, which includes specialization choices in: a. Gender and Development, b. Ecological Development, c. Sustainable Development; and International Development Management, a collaborative Arts and Business program. Arts courses carry university credits, allowing graduates to pursue advanced studies in development or related fields. Business course credits are evaluated individually for transfer purposes.
A regular applicant will have secondary school graduation (or equivalent) or will complete the requirements for senior secondary graduation (or its equivalent) not less than one month prior to commencement of classes for the semester to which admission is sought - either fall or winter. The following minimum entrance requirements will apply to regular applicants:
