Develop your portfolio to excel in three key sectors of construction: architectural design, project execution, and eco-friendly practices.
You'll engage with all design elements of both commercial and residential structures, covering architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical components. You'll examine how building design and construction affect the environment while mastering the creation of architectural and engineering drawings, cost assessments, material specifications, and technical documentation. Essential digital skills like computer-aided design (CAD) and building information modeling (BIM) are also part of your learning.
Career opportunities
Alumni have found rewarding positions with engineering and architecture firms, steel manufacturers, government agencies, construction companies, material providers, and product manufacturers. Graduates often start as engineering assistants, technicians, BIM specialists, CAD drafters, junior estimators, inspectors, or project coordinators in regulatory compliance. High School Graduation Diploma or equivalent, including Academic Grade 12 Math and Academic Grade 11 Physics.
IELTS: minimum score of 6.0 on each test (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).
Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) minimum test scores of 80 on the Internet-Based Test (TOEFL iBT), 60 on the Paper-Delivered Test, or 550 on the Paper-Based Test.
