Through partnerships with Alberta universities, our transfer programs enable you to start your degree at our institution before transitioning to the University of Alberta or University of Lethbridge to finish.
The University of Alberta's BEd program offers two specialization tracks: Elementary (Kindergarten-Grade 6) or Secondary (Grades 7-12). Elementary Route candidates can complete their entire University of Alberta BEd degree locally at Northwestern Polytechnic via the Teacher Education North (TEN) initiative.
For those interested in dual degrees, Northwestern Polytechnic credits (up to one year's worth) can be transferred toward combined BEd programs at the University of Lethbridge.
