The Digital Media and IT (DMIT) program takes a cross-disciplinary approach, offering diverse career paths from business analysis to visual design. This forward-thinking program equips you to address industry needs while cultivating abilities that match your personal strengths and interests.

The Animation specialization readies students for careers in film, gaming, architectural visualization, industrial simulations, and concept art. The DMIT - Animation track provides comprehensive training across the entire animation pipeline, covering story conception, character creation, drawing basics, 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, visual effects, lighting, rendering, and post-production. Foundational first-year courses build expertise in traditional drawing and 3D modeling, while advanced classes explore digital sculpting, character rigging, motion graphics, video editing, and compositing techniques for blending 2D/3D elements with live-action footage.

Through DMIT's strong industry partnerships, students can access numerous co-op placements. Numerous employers provide paid co-op roles that deliver hands-on experience in specialized fields. Many organizations also view these co-op positions as part of their talent acquisition strategy.
