The Master of Science in Mathematics program offers coursework combined with either a Major Research Paper (MRP) or Thesis option. The MRP track is designed as a one-year (3-term) full-time commitment, while the Thesis option can be completed as a two-year (6-term) full-time program or a four-year (12-term) flexible schedule. This program prepares graduates for careers in research, industry, business, or government by providing rigorous training in core mathematical disciplines. Our distinguished faculty specialize in diverse fields including topology, mathematical analysis, combinatorics, graph theory, industrial mathematics, and applied mathematics, with active research projects in scheduling, computational challenges, numerical methods, and optimization. The MRP requires students to demonstrate independent scholarly work.
