This academic program explores political subjects spanning from the fundamentals of international relations and foreign policy to Canadian governance. Nipissing University's Political Science Program provides coursework in Political Theory, Canadian Politics, Comparative Politics, International Relations, and Public Administration. If politics represents a collective effort to pursue shared community ideals, then political science serves as the analytical examination of these objectives and the strategies employed to realize them.
Students enrolled in a Concurrent Education degree program who fulfill their Nipissing Honours degree requirements, including specialized Concurrent Education courses, by April's end will advance to the professional years (Years 5 and 6) of the Bachelor of Education program. All necessary courses for the Honours undergraduate degree and/or teachable subject prerequisites must be completed by May 1 of the transition year into BEd Year 5.
