Geography is an interdisciplinary field exploring Earth's physical features—including water bodies, terrain, plant life, and climate—alongside human-environment interactions. We offer three distinct Geography degree paths. The Bachelor of Arts in Geography covers fundamental physical and human geography while emphasizing cultural, economic, political, and social factors. The Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Geography examines the origins and impacts of ecological challenges. The Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Physical Geography approaches geography as an earth science, combining mathematical, biological, geological, chemical, and physical principles with specialized geography coursework.
With geography's broad scope, degree holders enjoy diverse career opportunities. Potential paths include becoming an oceanographer, pollution analyst, fossil researcher, water quality specialist, weather scientist, urban development coordinator, earthquake expert, or cartography professional. Our graduates have also excelled as environmental protection agents, geospatial specialists, zoning consultants, policy analysts, and research associates in both public and private sectors.
Some alumni advance to Master's or PhD programs, while others join professional schools for law or education careers.
