Canada's only program of its kind, our interdisciplinary curriculum examines inequality and marginalized groups who face disparities in access to resources, opportunities, and influence. Graduates gain comprehensive knowledge about inequality's roots and impacts across global, national, and community levels, along with skills to develop solutions for enhancing societal welfare.

Potential career paths span various sectors including education, healthcare, urban development, migration services, global aid, workforce programs, social support systems, and veteran services. Roles may include benefits assessor, career development specialist, residential services manager, border services agent, communications specialist, or policy advisor.

Employment opportunities also exist within publicly funded facilities like medical centers, social service agencies, correctional institutions, and academic settings. Alternative career options involve working with philanthropic organizations, activist networks, professional associations, nonprofit entities, labor organizations, faith-based groups, Indigenous communities, political organizations, or international NGOs.

These possibilities illustrate the diverse array of organizations where you could launch your professional journey as an analyst, communications specialist, parliamentary aide, development officer, client services representative, funding administrator, or volunteer manager – representing just a sample of potential career trajectories.
