As a graduate in Exercise Science for Health and Performance, you'll evaluate, advise, and design tailored programs for athletes and individuals managing conditions like hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular issues, obesity, and other chronic health challenges. Program Highlights: Practical learning experiences in specialized Fitness Assessment and Resistance lab facilities. These labs feature advanced equipment for testing both elite athletes and clinical patients. Complete two field placements to develop hands-on experience with athletic and clinical groups. Acquire the expertise to pursue multiple professional certifications, including the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology Clinical Exercise Physiologist examination (CSEP-CEP), Canada's premier industry credential. Graduates may also qualify for certifications like the CSEP High Performance Specialization, CSEP Certified Personal Trainer, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, and COKO Registered Kinesiologist. Student must have: Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Human Kinetics, Kinesiology or Physical Education. Applicants who have studied outside of these fields of study, may be considered on an individual basis.
